We never know what to expect at the Pop-Up dinners that we host every other month in our community.
The table that seats between 10-20 people brings people together from all different walks of life, including from different parts of the city, different jobs, backgrounds, and so on, to hear each other's stories.
So when two "strangers" who come to one of the dinners "happen" to know each from some walk of life, we always take careful note: What might God be doing here. But when we see this happening across the board (or in this case, across the table) we pay extra close attention to these divine appointments.
Our most recent Pop-Up Dinner in August in Old Town Clovis was FILLED with divine appointments. It was crazy! You couldn't miss it. Someone sat down at the table next to a co-worker, neither of whom knew they were coming to the dinner. Another person sat down next to a family friend, again, neither of whom knew they were coming. Multiple people at the table shared a common burden that God has been stirring in their hearts. There were multiple ties and connections between jobs, ministries and common interests. There were so many connections between the 18 people around the table that we lost count. God is amazing!
The question ringing the next day after the dinner was what are we going to do with that - all of these the divine appointments. God was clearly at work, so how can we participate in what He is doing?
If you are interested in coming to one of our upcoming Pop-Up Dinners, please feel free to check out our website and Reserve a Seat. It would be great to have you join us at the table to hear one another's stories, and see what God is doing through this ministry.
