Everything we do, everything we give our time and attention to, what we look for, even how we dream about the future, is all inspired by the story we think we live in. The lie of the world is that we have to go create our own story, making us the main characters and the center of the storyline.
The truth is, there is really only ONE story… the story of God. Jesus is the center of this story, not us. So… if we believe this to be true, how does it inform our everyday life, how we live, and how we see the world?
This is the question we will be asking this summer...
What story are we living in?
This summer, GoMission.Church is inviting 6 young adults to explore the story God is calling them to live in. Through June - July, we will gather on Tuesdays and Thursdays for worship, teachings, meetings with ministry leaders in Fresno and Clovis, and collaborating with churches on local missional projects! We will dive into topics like:
The understanding of and participation in the Mission of God.
Asking genuine questions with Kingdom Curiosity.
What is “The Glory of God”?
How do we live in daily Practical Dependance on Jesus?
What does real Unity in the Body of Christ look like?
And more!
The interns will come away with a better understanding of the one, ultimate story God is always writing, and the part they are invited to play in the everyday restoration work of Jesus!
Partner with us in equipping these young people to go back out into their church communites to serve and live in the missional story of God!
This $3,000 will go towards providing lunch for the interns and staff, blessing the ministry leaders who take time to pour into the interns, an overnight retreat, and any practical materials we will need for our local projects!
